The apartment is beside Lima's only zoo (Parque de Las Leyendas), with a view of the llamas and the pre-inca ruins "Huaca Tres Palos" from most windows.

It is also a 2 minute walk from "Plaza San Miguel" (a large, very modern shopping centre which offers fashion,restaurants,cinemas,banks and just about

anything else you can imagine!). Nearby are Pizza Hut, Dominos, McDonalds, Burger King, TGI Fridays,Chilis, Chinese food, and hundreds of excellent

restaurants serving Peruvian cuisine with seafood dishes such as the famous cebiche!. Just down the street is Metro Supermarket which also has a

cinema and food-court.A 5 minute drive from the handicraft markets in Pueblo Libre where you can buy all types of ceramics,knitwear etc. at a fraction of the cost in other places.

There are two internet cabins which offer cheap international calls located at the base of the building.

The school across the street has a pool which is open to the public in the afternoons.
